Biking to and from work for just a few minutes each way can quickly add up to the 150 minutes of weekly moderate exercise recommended by the CDC

Featuring The Go-Ped GSR Sport!

This Gas Scooter comes in at an unbelievable cost, and it is chock-full of all the high-quality and performance features found on the original Go-Ped Sport. The difference is in the drive system.

The GSR Sport gas scooter bears a centrifugal clutch that allows the scooter to idle and freewheel. This added attribute means the GSR Sport isn't quite as uncomplicated as the original GoPed Sport, but it's much easier to ride. The GPL290 29cc engine is more hushed and "neighbor friendly" than the engine found on Go-Ped's many competition scooters.

It provides smooth, fun acceleration, unassailable torque for climbing hills and speeds of up to 22 mph. The GPL290 engine has been adjusted for outstanding reliability, quieter operation, and better fuel economy, yet it is unbelievably powerful for such a small and light weight motor. This engine variation is created easily enough through its modified cylinder that has smaller intake and exhaust ports, a non-adjustable carburetor and intake silencer.

The Go-Ped Speed Racer Sport is sturdy, very reliable and effortless to maintain. The heavy duty aircraft quality steel frame supports up to 400 lbs! The wide, low riding platform gives a smooth and stable ride. Storage and transport is child’s play, as it folds up easily. The Go-Active™ rubber tires are solid which means no flats!

The next item to be featured in our latest installment of our Don't be a gAsshat series is The GSR Cruiser gas powered scooter!

This baby is one of Go-Ped's best selling models. It's great for novices who want an inexpensive, comfy, secure and easy-to-learn beginner’s scooter. It’s also great for scooting aficionados who love all the aftermarket parts available to tweak the scooter. Chassis upgrades and screaming engines mods are widely available. Electric Scooters are eco-friendly and versatile choice for any number of riding requirements. They are best described as two or three wheeled electric-powered scooters commonly used by teens, active adults and kids.

TheGSR Cruiser has plenty of power for top speeds around 24 mph and torque for fast starts and great hill climbing. The 29cc GPL290 engine is much more hushed and more "neighbor friendly" than the beefier engines found on Go-Ped's competition scooters. The GSR Cruiser is geared for great all around performance. The centrifugal clutch allows the engine to accelerate or decelerate seamlessly. Stopping power comes from the front Mad Dog caliper and double ground and hardened stainless steel Wave disc rotor braking system. The GSR Cruiser is extremely reliable and the frame is bullet proof.

This week's installation of out Don't be a gAsshat series features, yet another X-treme Scooter. This time, it's a Gas-Powered Scooter: The X-Treme XG-499 Gas Scooter

Gas Scooters are two or three wheeled gas-powered scooters that are commonly used by teens, active adults and kids. Not too many stand-up 49cc gas scooters exist, especially at such a low price! The X-Treme XG-499 will not dissapoint gas scooter afficionados and enthusiats. It posesses a mighty 49cc two-stroke engine that can reach impressive speeds of up to 30 mph. It also has a range of about 30 miles (at about 115 miles per gallon!) Keep in mind that speed and range specs are maximum ratings under ideal conditions, i.e. light weight rider (relative to carrying capacity), good terrain (solid, flat, smooth & dry), etc. Less than ideal conditions will reduce speed, range and climbing ability.

The Go-Ped Riot 46 is the next installment in our “Don’t be a gAsshat” series. The Riot 46 is the latest adaptation of the Go-Ped Riot 29. The Riot 46 possesses an upgrade to the power plant and tires.

You'll get a 4.5 HP GP460RS gas powered engine pushing this machine to a top speed of 30 mph. 4" x 11" Carlisle "Badlands" knobby pneumatic tires are standard. The Riot 46 strives to meet the demand from pit bike riders for a high powered, top-quality, very compact, lightweight, economical off-road bike, and we feel that it has surpassed these expectations. And like all of Go-Ped's competition scooters, this baby gets about 60-80 miles per gallon. You will most likely save money while doing your part for reducing emissions. What is not to love?

Using the patented Trail Ripper adjustable suspension system in the front and rear, it provides riders great off-road capabilities with 6" of travel on each end. The GoPed Riot 46 weighs in at only 48 lbs, for those of you who dislike bulky vehicles.  It's designed to be an enjoyable ride in a hassle free package that can be carried just about anywhere you go. The extremely comfortable gel-filled seat can be adjusted to suit your specific needs. It also detaches for trouble-free storage.
