Not gAssHat

The X-Treme XMB-400 Elite Folding Electric Mobility Scooter is this weeks “Don't Be A gAssHat” featured review. I was reading the newspaper up on my front porch yesterday when all of a sudden my grandma pulled up for a visit. But I didn't see her old, reliable car at the curb. This time she was proudly riding a really nice looking X-Treme XMB-400. As she guided the scooter up the walkway, she had a smile as wide as the Grand Canyon on her face as she came to a stop, thoroughly enjoying the look of surprise on my face.

Now, I love new toys as well as the next person, so as I helped her up the steps and into a comfy chair, and got her a glass of lemonade, I asked her if I could take that delicious looking scooter for a quick spin around the block. As she was more than happy to show off her new acquisition, she said yes before I could finish my sentence. I wasted no time, and didn't hesitate to mount the good looking XMB-400 Elite and take off.

Whoa, this thing is nice, was the first thing that crossed my mind. It's damn comfortable. The well cushioned shelf style seat securely held my ass in place without scooting around, and the padded back and arm rests made the ride a real nice one. I can see why Grandma likes her X-Treme XMB-400 Elite.

As a true electric power chair/mobility scooter, the XMB-400 Elite is legal to use everywhere, making it an ideal choice for seniors and others needing one that is lightweight and stylish at the same time. The three solid rubber tires grip any asphalt or cement that you can throw at them, making for smooth stops and gos without any jarring movements.

The X-Treme XMB-400 mobility scooter's ample 180 watt motor can reach a forward top speed of 4 mph, and a 2 mph reverse speed. Coming to a stop is easy without having to worry about pulling any brake levers, as the electric regenerative-release throttle automatically engages the brakes any time you ease off the throttle.

I decided to put the XMB-400 Elite through some paces, and headed towards the hill up the next block. Holy crap! The scooter had no problem at all heading up the hill, nearly a 15 percent incline. I got to the top and headed back home.

All my Grandma said was “I know” when I got back and gushed about my ride. She knows.
